Changelog

What has changed on TrackMyOsu and when, newest first. TrackMyOsu is built and maintained by one osu! player, . Every change players can see is recorded here. If something is broken or you would like a feature, use the contact form.

— A public changelog, and stricter rules for listing profiles

  • This page. Every visible change to the site is now recorded here with its date.
  • Public profiles are now offered to search engines only once they hold at least five sessions in which something was actually played. Sessions where Start was pressed and nothing happened no longer count. Profiles below the line are still public and still work exactly as before — they are simply not listed.

— Homepage and style fixes

  • The 7-day tab on the homepage PP gains leaderboard now loads with the page instead of waiting for a second request.
  • Guide lists on the homepage and guides index are now styled properly, which removes a very tall block of bullets on phones.
  • On narrow screens the duplicate login button under the header is gone.
  • Style updates now reach returning visitors straight away instead of up to a week later.

— Correct session timers and friendlier outage handling

  • Fixed the live session timer, which could read a negative time such as "Started -41m ago" for players west of UTC. Session history times on the dashboard were off by the same amount and are now shown in your own time zone correctly.
  • When the osu! API is temporarily unreachable, profiles now say so and ask you to try again shortly, instead of claiming the player does not exist.
  • The About page now shows a real screenshot of a running session.

— Mobile layout overhaul

  • Every page now fits a phone screen. Previously the header was wider than any phone, which pushed the login button off-screen and made pages scroll sideways.
  • Session pages no longer say "No plays recorded" on sessions that gained pp or plays without setting a new top-100 score. The message now explains that no new top plays were set.
  • Sessions in which nothing was played no longer get their own public page. Owners still see every session on their dashboard and profile.

— Insights, ten new guides, and a rewritten glossary

  • New Insights page: written analysis of how tracked players actually play — what a typical session looks like, how pp gain is spread across sessions, and when people play — drawn from TrackMyOsu's own session history.
  • Ten new guides, including osu! mods explained, how to improve accuracy and why your rank drops. The original four guides were rewritten and expanded.
  • All thirteen glossary entries were rewritten and expanded, with worked examples and common misconceptions.

— Contact form

  • You can now reach the site through the contact form. It is linked from the footer, the privacy policy and the terms.
  • Session detail pages and head-to-head comparison pages are no longer listed in search engines. They remain available to anyone following a link.

— Full leaderboard and profile badges

  • The PP gains leaderboard now has its own page with the full board, 100 players per page, instead of only the homepage's top ten. Logged in, it shows your own position and links straight to your page of the board.
  • Profile badges. Milestone badges mark account landmarks such as crossing 1,000pp or reaching the top 10,000, and feat badges mark things like a 100pp session, a four-hour marathon or a seven-day tracking streak. They are awarded when a session is stopped, announced on the session summary, and shown on your public profile. Badges for past sessions were awarded retroactively.

— Support link

  • Added a Buy Me a Coffee link to the footer and the About page for anyone who wants to help cover the site's running costs. The site remains free with no paid tier.

— Guides, glossary and FAQ

  • The first four guides, covering how pp works, how to read your stats, and how to track pp gains over time.
  • A glossary of thirteen osu! terms, from pp and accuracy to ranked score and medals.
  • An FAQ and an About page.

— TrackMyOsu launches

  • Log in with your osu! account, press Start before you play and Stop when you finish. TrackMyOsu records your pp, rank, accuracy and new top plays across the session, refreshes every 60 seconds while it runs, and keeps every session permanently.
  • Public profiles at /u/<username> show a player's session history to anyone, and can be made private from the dashboard.

Track your own osu! sessions
